This eight day, seven night cuise is on the Viking Mars Ocean Ship from Reykjavik to Reykjavik, Iceland. If you haven't sailed on Viking Ocean here a just a few of the reasons we LOVE Viking Ocean.  

1.  There are no more that 930 quests but it feels more like 300-350.  Nothing ever feels crowded

2.  All of the staterooms have verandas, even the lowest category, and the smallest stateroom is 270sqft.  The staterooms are well designed with plenty of storage. 

3.  Viking has lunderettes with washers, dryers and ironing boards, free of charge on each deck.

4.  Viking does not charge extra for specialty dining and the dining is really good.  For example Manfredi's Italian and the Chef's Table.  YUM!  Also, for a late breakfast/early lunch, Mamsen's serves wonderful Scandinavian breakfast pastries and waffles as well as open faced sandwiches.  Their waffles are to die for!

5.  Vking includes wine and beer as well as soft drinks with lunch and dinner.  You can also upgrade this with a beverage package.

6.  Viking does one free shore excursion in each port but I also look at other opportunities to see what is the best fit for everyone.

7.  The onboard staff is amazing as is the service.  

8.  There is no casino, but they have amazing nightly entertainment as well as lectures on upcoming ports.  There are no children under 18 allowed on board.

9.  I saved the best for last.  Until 28 February, the deposit in only $25 per person!!  So we need to book now.  If you have to cancel, I love the Viking cancellation policy which is only $100 per person until 120 days prior to departure.
